## Method

1. Verify a harmless moving marker reaches the second device. A blank, stale or wrong surface cannot establish exclusion. Keep the overlay visible locally when testing exclusion.
2. Record the live receiver view and, with permission, a recording of that receiving device.
3. Exercise launch, repeated hide/show, movement, resize and monitor/scaling changes. Test fullscreen/Spaces and sleep/wake if used. Record repetitions and timestamps.
4. On Mac, note unconfirmed application after a size/scale change. After geometry settles, explicitly Re-apply and repeat the receiver check. Native status alone does not establish exclusion.
5. Separately inspect each planned local meeting recording, cloud meeting recording and third-party recorder. Do not infer any result from another path.
6. Stop sharing/recording on exposure, hide using a working manual control, and verify the hidden state. Keep sharing stopped if controls fail. Make one change and create a new test record.

## Observations — duplicate one row per transition and repetition

Use outcomes: Not tested / Pass for observed sample / Fail / Inconclusive.
Any overlay-content frame fails exclusion for that phase. Log black rectangles, stale images, missing exercise content and local grey/black rendering literally. Use Inconclusive when evidence is insufficient. Check local usability separately.

A new release or a readiness pass is not a new compatibility result. Software capture exclusion does not hide processes or prevent photography of the physical display.
