Acceptable use policy
Version 2026-08-02. Effective August 2, 2026.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of ClawPad and is incorporated into the Terms of Service and Software License. ClawPad is an educational and interview-practice tool. You may use it only when the assistance, capture, recording, and processing are lawful, authorized, and consistent with the rules of the setting.
1. No deception or unauthorized assistance
Do not use ClawPad to misrepresent your identity, knowledge, skills, work, or eligibility; impersonate another person; fabricate credentials or evidence; or conceal assistance when disclosure or independent work is required. Do not use overlay visibility or capture-exclusion features to deceive an interviewer, employer, school, testing body, meeting participant, proctor, or platform or to evade their rules, monitoring, or security controls.
2. No cheating or assessment abuse
Do not use ClawPad during an interview, examination, certification, contest, assignment, code challenge, take-home exercise, or other assessment unless the person or organization administering it permits that use. Do not obtain, share, reconstruct, or distribute restricted questions, answer keys, evaluation materials, or confidential assessment content. Practice with content you are authorized to use.
3. No illegal surveillance or recording
Do not capture, monitor, transcribe, or record a person or communication without all permissions and notices required for that specific session. Do not use ClawPad for stalking, harassment, covert surveillance, interception, doxxing, biometric identification, or collection of intimate or highly sensitive information without lawful authority. You must stop if consent is absent, withdrawn, or uncertain.
4. Respect confidentiality, privacy, and intellectual property
Do not process or disclose trade secrets, private source code, personal data, interview materials, customer information, privileged communications, or other confidential content unless you are authorized and the processing is consistent with applicable duties and notices. Do not infringe copyrights, patents, trademarks, privacy, publicity, contractual restrictions, or other rights. Do not use ClawPad to identify, profile, or make consequential decisions about a person without a lawful and appropriate basis.
5. No illegal, harmful, or abusive activity
Do not use ClawPad to facilitate violence, exploitation, trafficking, discrimination, harassment, threats, fraud, extortion, illegal goods or services, or any other unlawful conduct. Do not generate or distribute malware, ransomware, credential-stealing code, destructive payloads, phishing content, exploit chains, or instructions intended to compromise systems or accounts. Legitimate security education, defensive testing, and authorized research must remain within the scope of permission granted by the system owner.
6. Protect the Services and others
Do not probe, scan, scrape, overload, flood, spam, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to ClawPad, its providers, accounts, devices, or networks. Do not automate account creation or requests in a manner that evades controls; share, sell, or harvest credentials; bypass device, plan, entitlement, rate, or feature limits; interfere with logging or security; forge requests or payment events; or introduce malicious code or data.
7. No evasion or assistance to violators
Do not conceal the source, purpose, or destination of prohibited activity; use multiple accounts, devices, networks, identities, or provider keys to evade a restriction; retaliate against reporting or enforcement; or instruct, encourage, enable, or materially assist another person in violating this AUP. An attempted violation is treated the same as a completed violation where protective action is reasonably necessary.
8. Your duty to evaluate context
A feature’s availability does not mean a use is permitted. You are responsible for the laws, contracts, policies, professional duties, recording-consent rules, and assessment conditions that apply to you. If authority or consent is unclear, do not capture, record, transmit, or use the content until you have resolved the uncertainty with the relevant person or organization.
9. Enforcement
Lab161 may investigate suspected violations and may limit a feature, reject a request, revoke a device or credential, suspend or terminate an account or license, preserve relevant records, or report conduct to affected providers or authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect people, rights, or systems. Enforcement decisions may consider severity, intent, recurrence, impact, cooperation, and remediation. We may act immediately where there is a credible security, safety, legal, or abuse risk; otherwise, we may provide notice and an opportunity to cure where appropriate.
Nothing in this AUP requires Lab161 to monitor all activity or prevents lawful reporting, good-faith security research performed with authorization, protected whistleblowing, or another activity that applicable law says cannot be restricted.
10. Reporting and changes
Report suspected abuse or ask whether a proposed use is permitted by contacting hello@interviewclaw.app. Do not include sensitive captured content unless requested through an appropriate support channel. We may update this AUP by posting a revised version and effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively, and we may require renewed acceptance before continued use.
