Free Screen Share Test and Local Preview
Preview what this browser captures from a surface you choose. Look for private content before a permitted practice session, then check the received recording in your actual meeting app. This local preview cannot prove what another participant sees.
About this preview
How does this screen share test work?
This tool uses your browser's screen capture API to display a local preview of the screen, window, or tab you select. It does not connect to Zoom, Meet, Teams, or Discord and cannot show what their participants receive.
Does this test prove whether ClawPad or an overlay is excluded from capture?
No. It only shows the selected browser capture. A tab or window can omit other windows because they are outside that surface. Capture exclusion depends on the OS, capture client, and sharing mode. Verify the received recording on a second device before a permitted session. Applied operating system settings alone do not prove exclusion.
Does this tool upload or record my screen?
No. This tool displays the selected stream locally in a video element. It does not record or upload the capture and does not request audio. Stop the preview or leave this page to end capture.
Should I share my entire screen or a single application window?
Follow the session's sharing requirements. Selecting a single window or tab can reduce unrelated content in the capture, but still check the received recording in the actual meeting app on a second device. Use assistance only in permitted sessions; this tool does not test or interfere with assessment integrity controls.
